Sometimes, members&#8217; actions may not lead to tangible results. Even in such cases, it is important for leaders to focus on the &#8220;action&#8221; itself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Even if an action appears to be a failure, it can be interpreted as a collection of information that will lead to success. Edison, the king of inventors, said, &#8220;I have never failed. I have only discovered 10,000 ways it could go wrong&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Leaders should show appreciation for &#8220;contributions&#8221; through &#8220;actions,&#8221; and this creates a &#8220;team spirit&#8221; in the organization. A culture in which all members are happy and celebrate achievements and successes. The leader is the one who creates that &#8220;organizational culture&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recognizing &#8220;Contributions&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clearly communicate expectations to members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set high expectations for individual and team goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate trust and expectations for team members not only in words, but also in actions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create an environment where leaders and all team members can give honest feedback to each other in a natural way.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Link performance to evaluation so that those who achieve goals are rewarded.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Find out what kind of encouragement is effective based on each member&#8217;s individuality and put it into practice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage and praise members face to face. Visit the member&#8217;s desk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>There are many ways to give praise. Be creative and give praise on the spot when you think of it. Enjoy giving praise.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Honoring Value and Victory<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Identify and document the actions that have made the organization successful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share and talk about examples of members&#8217; efforts beyond their own scope of work at every opportunity.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Success stories should be told and posted at various opportunities, not just at meetings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let them know that each person contributes to the whole and has a unique role to play.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encourage a sense of &#8220;community of destiny&#8221; each time we rejoice and celebrate together.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seize opportunities for small celebrations, even for small milestone accomplishments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Leaders themselves participate in as many awards and ceremonies as possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Always end team meetings with positive words that will lead to the next step.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The &#8220;actions&#8221; of the members become the wave that brings dynamism to the organization.
