Dreams and visions are the driving force that create the future. Create a vision in your mind and clarify why it is important to you (=leader). It is your role to make it clear to your colleagues who share that vision why it is important to them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. general framework for &#8220;shared vision&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Steps to envision the future (flow of &#8220;your own&#8221; contemplation)<br>Look back at the past, understand the current situation, imagine the future, and discover your passion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finding a common purpose with members (dialogue that &#8220;you&#8221; have with them)<br>Share the drastically changing environment, Listen, carefully, Set high aspirations, Inspire<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. practices to evoke a &#8220;common vision&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reflect on past experiences and contemplate the central themes of your life and your own values.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be curious about what is happening around you. Look at what is not going particularly well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Spend time thinking about and exploring the future.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify what drives you, what you feel passionate about.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make a list of what you want to accomplish and ask yourself why.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore the harmony between your priorities and what society wants.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Long before the project is finished, keep thinking, &#8220;What will happen next..&#8221;?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ask the people around you and the members of your team what they want the future to look like.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Involve members in the process of developing a common purpose and vision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create an atmosphere in which members can speak freely about their dreams and visions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Talk about the relationship between you and the members as equals and mutually inspiring.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Connect your own hopes and dreams with the hopes and dreams of the members.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Share your perceptions of where you are headed and the means by which you will get there.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transform your &#8220;job&#8221; into a &#8220;mission&#8221; for you and all the members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A vision does not reside in the hands of a single leader of an organization; it becomes an &#8220;organizational vision&#8221; only when it exists firmly as a &#8220;shared vision&#8221; among all members.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Organizations and societies can continue to move toward the future because they have dreams and hopes.
