Sometimes they may feel crushed under the weight of a crisis. In such cases, the executive coach works with the client to sort out the risks from the perspective of \u201cThe Eisenhower Matrix\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, we thoroughly examine the &#8220;importance&#8221; and &#8220;urgency&#8221; of the various tasks. Then, they are weighted and plotted into four quadrants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highest priority is in the &#8220;first quadrant,&#8221; where management resources are invested with the highest priority. In a word, &#8220;immediate action&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The next is the &#8220;second quadrant&#8221;. This is the &#8220;second quadrant,&#8221; which is of high importance but of low urgency, and is tackled in a timely manner. There is plenty of time, so &#8220;Focus on Preparation&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then comes the &#8220;third quadrant&#8221;. It is &#8220;flexible response&#8221; because the urgency is high but the level of importance is low. It is also necessary to consider the level of achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fourth quadrant is &#8220;remove&#8221;. However, the task in the &#8220;fourth quadrant&#8221; is the most difficult, and sometimes limited management resources are used up in this quadrant. The department or person in charge is attached to the task because of his or her attachment to the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is often a psychology of organizational defense at work.
