Tells you why it won&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not giving information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not properly acknowledging others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking credit where credit is due.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Making excuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clinging to the past.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preferential treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not expressing sorry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not listening to others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not expressing gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking it out on others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Avoiding responsibility<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saying &#8220;I am like this&#8221; too much.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>I am sure that there are not many (or only a few?) who feel that all of the above apply to them. But it does provide a great perspective from which to reflect on oneself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Goldsmith tells us that &#8220;the best way to win people over is to cure them of this&#8221;.
