The coach focuses on the client&#8217;s emotions and works with them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Focus on the client&#8217;s emotional change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ask the client to reflect on the theme he or she presented, and the events and feelings that led to the desire to use it as a theme. This may lead to the realization that there was an unconscious feeling behind the verbalized theme, or that the real theme was something else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Throughout the session, the coach focuses on the client&#8217;s emotional changes. They also focus on and sense the &#8220;non-verbal reactions&#8221; of the client when he or she answers questions. If the client seems hesitant about something, he or she will pay attention to that. If you sense anger or animosity in the client, ask about it.<br>The important thing is not to try to know the cause of the emotion, but to accept the emotion for what it is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The lack of action is due to some emotion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is also possible that the client knows what to do and how to make it happen, but does not act. If, in the course of an ongoing session, you have a firm rational purpose, means, and action plan in place, but they are not taking action, then there may be some emotional influence at play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Look at the client&#8217;s current physical and mental state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the roles of the coach is to &#8220;be with&#8221; the client. The environment is constantly changing, and the mental state that was stable a week ago may take on a completely different aspect due to the effects of the environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By asking about the client&#8217;s background, including the client&#8217;s daily environment and mental state, the coach can understand whether or not the client&#8217;s current conditioning is having an impact on the way he or she really wants to be, set goals, and take action.<br>Coaching truly works when the client feels that the coach is there for them.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Even when people are willing to make logical decisions and take action, they are influenced by emotions, which are tricky to deal with.
