Every profession requires professionalism. When people see professionalism in a person, they respect and commit themselves to that person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suppose we have an experienced doctor. After a thorough examination, the patient you are facing is found to be seriously ill and needs immediate surgery. However, the chance of survival from the surgery is 50-50. If you were the doctor, how would you address the patient?
It is easy to imagine that the patient would be shocked. This is a scene that truly tests a doctor’s overall abilities as a professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In coaching, we do not encounter such harsh situations frequently. However, in order to realize the client’s “ideal state” together with the client, we are required to treat the client seriously, always take pride in being a professional, and give feedback with courage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If I say something like this, I wonder if it is rude to the other person?
If I say something like this, won’t they hate me?
If I say this, will it hurt the other person?
If I say something like this, the relationship that has been going well may collapse?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These are feelings shared by many people.
However, professional coaches are not “amateurs who are good conversationalists,” but specialists who accompany clients toward their goals through dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through sincere study in coaching schools and through numerous practical experiences, coaches establish their own foundation as professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to gain the true trust of the client, the coach must have a strong will to listen to his or her own intuition and confront his or her own thoughts and feelings, after attending to and accepting the various thoughts and feelings conveyed by the client.
A professional coach is sensitive to what he or she senses and has the ability to verbalize it clearly and concisely.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
