In order to be a professional coach, it is necessary to calmly accept this cognitive function of &#8220;normal people&#8221; and master the skill of &#8220;listening&#8221; to go beyond it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To &#8220;listen&#8221; means to\u2026<br>Hearing to what the other person is saying.<br>Hearing to what the client is saying.<br>Hearing to what the client is saying<br>Listening to what the client is not saying<br>Listen to what the client is not even aware of.<br>It is important to understand the level of &#8220;listening&#8221; in terms of &#8220;depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Coaches are required to be able to listen to &#8220;what the other person (client) is not even aware of. Using all five senses, the coach listens to more than just the client&#8217;s words.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They must be able to sense the client&#8217;s emotions and whether or not he or she is speaking from the heart. To do this, we must be able to distinguish discrepancies between words, tone of voice, and body gestures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are not limited to the superficial words uttered by the other person (client), but we find out what the other person&#8217;s (client&#8217;s) true concern is.<br>This is &#8220;active listening&#8221; in coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a nuanced way of listening that involves not only listening with the ears, but also with the whole body. The three key points are as follows<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Focus on the client&#8217;s feelings.<br>Focus on the client&#8217;s own feelings and emotions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Explore the true purpose and theme.<br>Continuously explore the true purpose and theme of what the other person (client) really wants to be.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Listen to the client&#8217;s values, assumptions, and framework.<br>It is to listen to what values, assumptions, and perspectives the other party (client) holds dear. The reality is that many clients are not aware of their true values.
