Various coaching organizations are currently training and certifying coaches. In this article, we will explain what is meant by “coach certification in coaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are both public and private qualifications. Lawyers, certified public accountants, doctors, etc. are public national qualifications, and are positioned as exclusive qualifications, as only the holders of such qualifications are allowed to engage in such work.
The reason for this is to prevent serious problems and accidents that could occur if an inexperienced person who does not have such knowledge were to perform the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, there are some official qualifications that do not involve exclusive work. For example, a small and medium-sized enterprise consultant registered with the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry is a national qualification for management consultants, but management consulting services themselves can be performed by non-qualified persons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The reason is that the scope of work to be defined as management consulting is too broad, and if only qualified persons can perform the work, it is foreseeable that it would be detrimental to the development of society as a whole. However, since small and medium-sized enterprise diagnosticians are recognized as experts with a wide range of knowledge about business management in general, they can help you decide with whom to conclude a consulting contract.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now, coaching qualifications. It is a private certification and not an exclusive practice. Unlike counseling, the target audience for coaching is assumed to be healthy people who wish to improve their performance. The role of a professional coach is to accompany and support the client, and this is achieved through communication. However, since it is a “conversation,” it is difficult to “know” what kind of knowledge the professional coach has and how he\/she uses it.
Coaching requires a high level of expertise, but this “lack of clarity” has resulted in a situation where coaching qualifications themselves are interpreted in a variety of ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
